Weighted Utensils Stabilize Tremulous Hands
The Pediatric Weighted Utensils are designed with non-slip, soft-grip handles to assist children who have grasping difficulties. Constructed of stainless steel, each utensil weighs approximately 4 ounces to help stabilize the tremulous hands. The bright red, plastic vinyl handles are shaped to fit fingers and prevent the utensil from slipping out of the child’s hands.
Provides a Functional Hand Grip
The weighted utensils are designed to improve and enhance eating skills during mealtimes and help children become more independent. Each utensil handle measures 3 ¾” in length with the exposed stainless steel measuring 2 ¾” in length. The adaptive eating utensils can assist children who have physical disabilities, poor fine motor control, arthritis, or tremors.
Dishwasher Safe Up to 180° Fahrenheit
The Pediatric Weighted Utensils are available in three different options: Youth Fork, Teaspoon, and Plastisol Coated Teaspoon. With each handle measuring ⅞” in diameter, the teaspoon with plastisol coating is designed to help protect sensitive teeth and lips. Excellent for personal uses at home, the utensils are dishwasher safe up to 180° Fahrenheit.
