AmTrykes – Regular for Children 36″-42″ Tall

AmTrykes are a perennial favorite with children who cannot manage a regular tricycle because of low tone, spina bifida, lower extremity paralysis, or cerebral palsy. The tricycles have heavy steel frames that are built to last. The motivating machines increase strength, and endurance, spatial orientation, motor planning, reciprocating motor patterns, and range of motion. Children propel the trikes with arm and/or leg power.Available in Regular size (for children 3-8 years old) and Large size (for children 8 and older) with steering lock pin for three steering positions: straight, 20-degrees left/right and free steering. AmTrykes have a rugged hand crank enclosed chained drive, safety chest and lap straps, footrests with hook and loop straps for feet, and a 4-way adjustable seating. The trikes also feature spoke-less wheels and pneumatic tires. A safety helmet is included and adult supervision is recommended.
