Core Therapeutic Capabilities & Innovation
The Precor Series 635 Recumbent Bike.Includes the air flex seat with a ventilated panel and unique suspension system for a cool, cushioned ride. The new, compact molded seat back features a “floating” suspension system that allows the seat back to move with the user for unsurpassed comfort. Designed to yield a smooth, quiet operation with a consistent resistance progression.
The Precor Series 635 Upright Bike features easy seat adjustment, redesigned saddle for riding comfort, and improved knee over pedal spindle (KOPS) geometry for efficient pedaling. The over-molded handlebars are designed with dual heart rate sensors and three ergonomic riding positions: upright, cruising, and road. The optimum width of the handlebars provides stability and comfort along the entire forearm.
Precor designed the recumbent bike to maintain similar biomachines as developed for the upright bike. Set the angle of the seat rail with an offset from the crank to aid with efficient pedaling and reduced shear force on the knee. The seat rail angle is at 15 degrees with a slight offset from the crank axle. This places the knee directly over the ball of the foot (or pedal spindle) when the pedals are in the 2 and 8 o’clock positions.
