Users can select stimulation waveforms from one of the eight waveforms: Interferential, Premodulated, TENS (Symmetrical Biphasic & Asymmetrical Biphasic), NMES, Russian, High Volt, Microcurrent, and RAAS. Rapid Agonist Antagonist Sequencing (RAAS) is a unique stimulation waveform that replicates the typical firing pattern of normal muscle contractions. The waveforms are designed to specifically improve weak and inhibited muscles following surgery, injury, or trauma.

Richmar TheraTouch CX4 is equipped with a menu-driven interface. The LCD color touchscreen is user-friendly and bilingual. The touchscreen serves as a comprehensive guide for medical professionals to use when carrying out clinical protocols. Using a step-by-step method, users are educated on treatment protocol to ensure the safety and effectiveness in electrotherapy and ultrasound use. In addition to the protocols, users can access an anatomical library for electrode placement recommendations.
