AXIO Centripetal Trainer

Each AXIO Trainer contains one or more weighted masses that move within a resisted outer channel. As the user moves the AXIO, they must generate, maintain, and control their rotation while stabilizing against the shifting centripetal forces produced. This continuous need for control and adjustment activates the shoulder complex, core, and the entire kinetic chain in ways traditional exercises can’t replicate. The real challenge lies in learning to feel, anticipate, and manage the dynamic forces you generate with every movement.

How AXIO Centripetal Training Works

Each AXIO Trainer features one or more weighted masses that move within a resistance-based outer channel. As users move the device, they must initiate, sustain, and control rotational motion while simultaneously stabilizing against shifting centripetal forces. This constant demand for control activates the shoulder complex, core, and full kinetic chain in ways traditional exercises simply can’t replicate. The true challenge lies in learning to sense, anticipate, and manage the dynamic forces generated with every movement.

Clinical Rehabilitation and Performance Training

AXIO Trainers are utilized in a wide range of environments—including physical therapy clinics, athletic training rooms, strength and conditioning centers, and home exercise programs. Their versatility makes them effective for everything from targeted rotator cuff strengthening to orthopedic, neurological, and sports rehabilitation. They’re also ideal for arm care routines, dynamic core stabilization, balance and fall prevention, coordination training, neuromuscular re-education, and injury prevention strategies. With scalable levels of challenge, AXIO Trainers empower clinicians and coaches to customize programs to meet the unique needs and abilities of each patient or athlete.
