1. The Science of Synchronized Dual-Wavelengths: MLS® Principle
Traditional therapeutic lasers emit single wavelengths either in continuous wave (CW) or pulsed mode (PW). Continuous wave is primarily effective for reducing inflammatory edema and stimulating microcirculation, but carries high risk of cutaneous burns if power is raised. Pulsed wave provides instantaneous analgesia by hyperpolarizing nerve endings, but lacks sustained biochemical stimulus.
MLS® (Multiwave Locked System) overcomes this limitation by simultaneously delivering two distinct, synchronized wavelengths:
- 808 nm (Continuous & Frequency-Modulated): Directly targets the vascular and lymphatic beds, stimulating capillary neoangiogenesis, reducing interstitial exudates, and promoting rapid drainage of inflammatory swelling.
- 905 nm (Pulsed High Peak Power): Targets A-delta and C sensory nerve fibers, inhibiting pain conduction via the gate control mechanism and triggering local beta-endorphin release.
Crucially, because the two emissions are synchronized, the anti-edema effect amplifies the analgesic effect, and vice-versa, creating a true clinical synergy that cannot be replicated by administering two independent lasers sequentially.
2. What Makes MiS® Groundbreaking: Super-Pulsed High Energy Density
The MiS® platform elevates the MLS® concept into intensive therapeutic territory. Utilizing a multi-diode optical architecture capable of peak pulse power reaching 1,000 Watts (1 kW), MiS® achieves ultra-short pulse durations in the nanosecond range. This enables photons to penetrate deep through skin, subcutaneous adipose tissue, and deep muscular fascia without triggering thermal buildup at the cutaneous barrier.
