Helps Shorten Rope Length The Soft Reformer Loop Straps attach to the Reformer ropes and can be doubled over as a quick way to shorten rope length. If there is tension in the ropes when your hands or feet are lifted and the carriage is at rest, the ropes are too tight and need to be lengthened. If the ropes are too loose, providing no tension when your hands or feet are in a forward position, shorten them. Creates a Loop of Resistance At the top of the carriage are handles and loops. The handles are attached to ropes which feed through pulleys and tie back into the carriage. This connection creates a consistent loop of resistance in both directions, working both the contraction of muscles and the release or lengthening of the same muscles.
